A steam injection and extraction setup was piloted within an area where small globules of DNAPL (Cresote) were noted during the SI works. A second area of the site underwent In-Situ Chemical Oxidation using Persulphate and Hydrogen Peroxide. Results are being analysed to identify the most appropriate technology for the full scale remediation of the site.
