People generally associate Tuscany with Chianti and olive oil. Unfortunately, in this occasion there’s no Chianti and the oil we are dealing with is not from an olive tree!  Ecologia Italy has recently completed the installation of a very simple pump & stock system for company working on an ENI remediation contractor’s framework. The system is designed to operate No.15 pneumatic pumps to remove LNAPL from groundwater and stock the extracted contaminated liquid in storage tanks which are regularly emptied using a vacuum tanker as there is no nearby connection to a foul sewer. The system was assembled and tested in our workshop in Bologna prior to being shipped to site for final commissioning. Ecologia Italy has recently been awarded a number of similar P&S system installations with different new clients.
