Dr Giacomo Maini Managing Director of Ecologia will be presenting at The Fourth International Contaminated Land Symposium on Environmental Risk Management and Remediation Technologies to be held in Beijing, China from 13^th to 15^th October 2017. Giacomo’s presentation ‘Sustainable In-Situ Remediation in Europe – LNAPL Remediation at an Operational Railway Station in Ireland’ will provide an insight of Ecologia’s experience in installing and operating a Multiphase Extraction (MPE) system in the arches under Connolly Station, Dublin. The remediation was supported by detailed LNAPL characterisation and modelling in order to determine a sustainable and acceptable risk reduction end point that achieved successful site closure.
