Ecologia has been instructed by the by one of the London Boroughs to carry out Due Diligence and Site Investigation works at a parcel of land adjoining the sidings at railway Station.  The site has been identified for a future development comprising the construction of a mixed used area, residential and commercial. The objective of the site investigation works is to support the Council in the undergoing purchase negotiation process. The detailed scope of work comprises, a Desktop Study Report to review potential risk associated with historical and current use of the site followed by site investigation works  for the preliminary assessment of ground contamination risk and geotechnical parameters. The geotechnical works will include Cone Penetration Tests (CPTs) to be used to assist the design of the foundations of a proposed footbridge overpassing the main railway line.
