Roddy’s role at Ecologia is to primarily enhance the companies contaminated land capability in providing  effective  remediation  design.

A Chartered Environmental Surveyor and Chartered Environmentalist Roddy graduated in 1991 from the University of Glamorgan in ‘Minerals Surveying’, and initially worked for specialist remediation contractors before moving into consultancy with White Young Green Environmental in 2001 and more recently Campbell Reith Hill LLP and Capita Symonds Ltd.

Core specialisms in contaminated land (identification, assessment, remediation and verification) include: due diligence; site investigation; quantitative risk assessment; remediation design and verification; abnormal costing preparation; contract procurement; contract administration; and, technical support of legal, funding, commercial and sales matters.  Additionally Roddy has technical expertise in waste management as a CL:AiRE Code of Practice Qualified Person; and, civil engineering sustainability assessment as an experienced CEEQUAL Assessor and SiLC  registered.

Experienced in undertaking / co-coordinating and project management of all stages of brownfield regeneration from pre acquisition due diligence to providing professional advice in support of land divestment, Roddy has fulfilled a variety of project roles; and, has a track record in delivering successful projects at all stages of development for a wide range of site types.  Roddy has worked with a wide variety of Clients (both public and private sector) on all sizes of project, ranging from small scale housing for developers, to large scale regeneration projects for regional bodies and clients with large property portfolios
